Do they serve alcohol beverages??
super authentic. only open for lunch and dinner. food is SO good and filling. I have tried 3 menu items and everything was tasty.
MoreExcellent service, excellent price, authentic Mexican cuisine. Yummy!
Don't be fooled by this hole in the wall, The food here is amazing. My husband and I could never frequent this restaurant as much as we would have liked to because it was always too crowded , but they recently expanded! We were thrilled!! Prices are very reasonable as well. Best nachos in town! Highly recommend.
MoreTraveling home and passing through Little Rock we were looking for a local place to eat that had good Mexican food. Found this little out-of-the-way unassuming place with other good reviews and decided to give it a shot. Tight quarters and not a lot of seating but we were able to be seated without too long of a wait. The salsa was fresh and flavorful, homemade corn and flour tortillas were the best. With so many Mexican food restaurants out there, this place stands out and is worth a visit.
MoreThis is the best place in Arkansas for Mexican food. They have the best tacos al pastor and micheladas. Everything in the menu is so good.
MorePalenque has choices of authentic Mexican cuisine, the place inside feels like a travel to a Mexican place, it's busy and could be a bit loud but so is life. You know is good food when Hispanics choose this place to enjoy a bit of home. The fajitas are great and can enjoy a "Michelada" before you get your meal.
MoreThis is the most authentic Mexican restaurant that I've been to in Little Rock. If you're looking for real Mexican food an unique dishes, then this is your place. They also server alcohol. You can order a 32oz Corona Familiar. Everything is reasonable price and service has always been fast. I've found myself eating lunch and dinner here in the same day. I highly recommend you try this place.
MoreThe food is ok. The service was terrible. Our waitress was just too busy. It took her a long time to take our order and she was rude. I tried to order guacamole, but she told me no guacamole today because they didn't have any avocados. Well, when I went to the front to check out, I saw a worker with avocados making guacamole. First and last time going.
MoreAwesome place👍👍👍👍 Although the Restaurant is small. It is very quaint and inviting. What it lacks in size. It makes up in FLAVOR 😋😋😋😋😋The staff is very nice👍👍👍👍I liked everything about this place 😊😁😄😄😊😊🤗😊😁👍😁👍
MoreQuick fix when you got your mask and want to dine in. Good customer service and friendly staff. Authentic Mexican cuisine!!
MoreLove this place. Great food, wide intentional selection, lots to choose from. My wife and I love it.
MoreWhat an amazing find!! Were in town visiting family and just got lucky and found this little place. Delicious and authentic. Great service and fantastic prices. If your hungry for real Mexican food stop here
MoreDelicious tacos al pastor and beef soup.
Very good, authentic Mexican food! A nice break from the far too many Tex-Mex joints in Little Rock
MoreThis place is good and awesome as always, and even better as they have expanded to the local next door. The dining area is big and beautiful. Staff is friendly and food is delicious!
MoreAmazing tacos! Lengua, pastor, and arrieros are my favorites. Cheap and delicious.
MoreThis place is a hidden gym. The sauce was delicious food nice and fresh. Friendly prompt service. Not very big place but highly recommend
MoreEasily the best tacos in Little Rock, if not the state. Excellent homemade tortillas will have you salivating, regardless of whether you prefer corn or flour. The lengua (beef tongue) tacos are incredibly tender and flavorful, as are all of the other meats. The warm salsa is delicious and different than anything you’ve ever had. Oh, and their GUACAMOLE! It’s a dream. You haven’t had authentic Mexican food until you’ve come here. Absolutely superb.
MoreEasily the best Mexican food in Central Arkansas. The Bistek Ranchero is the best thing on the menu. I promise. Ceviche Tostada is a also a must. Shrimp Diablo is great. The street tacos are all great, especially the mixed meat specialty Arreiro taco.
MoreThis place popular, but is definitely worth the wait for a table. The portions were huge and the food tastes great. I got the fajita salad and it had fresh tomatoes and greens.
MoreAbsolutely the best Mexican place in little rock. soft taco supremes are so fresh and flavorful. My kids and wife love it also
MoreExcellent food and fantastic service. The staff is very nice and friendly.
Love this place. Definitely a hole in the wall but food is great!!
The food was great, along with the portion sizes! I will be returning.
authentic tacosfeels like home and nice decorbest cheese dip ever
Food is good. Service is good. My only complaint is portion size. It needs to be larger.
MoreMeal was huge and affordable
Had the whole fried fish (tilapia) and it was very good. They are expanding to be able to acomadate more people which is always a good sign. They have a great set of furniture which is relieve carved with scenes of villages and such which are really great. Good food (authentic) and a cool place.
MoreThis place is OUTSTANDING!!! The food was so delicious. The price was pretty great also! I got the tacos de alambre and my husband got barbacoa tacos. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be back again!
MoreStill the best Mexican food in town and the staff is great!
Best tacos in LR!
Food; one of the best maxican food in town, all stars for food. But, Service needs a lot of improvements. My personal experience almost all the time my drink order was messed up. Few times even my food order was messed. But, even if I got the wrong order; still liked what I got instead😜. Often this place is busy and we have to wait a lot unattended. I still recommend this place.
MoreThe food is delicious, the horchata is superbly smooth and creamy. The shop is small and I like it. The salsa is warm(temperature), you can ask for hot(spicy) salsa as well. Try sopes! They are the bomb.
MoreWe went there to get tacos. I can say this is the best tacos I have had in Little Rock. This place may be tucked to the corner of the shopping center but it is worth checking out. The menu is authentic this salsa was different than any salsa I have tasted. They also had truly hot sauces to add to your food. The wait staff was attentive and our food arrived quickly.
MoreBeyond awesome food, for a decent price
This place was packed. Literally no where to sit and barely room to stand so I ordered my food to go. I was born and raised on the West Coast and this reminds me of the Mexican food I am use to. I love Santo Coyote but Taqueria El Palenque is in a league of its own. I will call in my order for now on. This is my new go to food spot.
MoreFun atmosphere, pretty good food, very good service. Went for dinner on a Friday, was busy but not too crowded. They have some medium sized TVs if you're interested in watching sports while you eat. They serve warm tortilla chips and salsa that are good. We tried the tacos de alambre a torta, and aqua frescas, all good. For the price it's very good, will come back.
MoreSome very authentic choices (tongue tacos) and standard "Mexican" food.
Food is great. Service is slow and unattentive. Also could be a little more cleaner.
MoreGreat prices , awesome food , best service
If you like hole in the wall places.... This is the place. When we got there it was standing room only. Meaning every table was used with customers waiting. The food is really good taste fresh and authentic.
MoreFood was great. Staff as well. And they have Coca-Cola imported from Mexico that still uses sugar cane as the sweetener.
MoreThis place has the best Chorizo tacos in the world. They honestly can't be beat.
Great food, but it was crowded and took forever to get a table. While I waited, no one said a word to us. Even when tables cleared, we just sat down since they didn't seat us. The salsa is a hot (temperature) salsa, which I often like, but this was not my favorite flavor. But the tacos are authentic and delicious which makes up some ground.
MoreExcellent food 3rd time there and better than the last !
Local. Yummy. SmallThe atmosphere is fun and fast. They have great tacos, questions, and a warm salsa. The warm salsa is something you have to get used to but it is delicious. This is a small joint with only 2 handfuls of tables so come early or be prepared to wait a little bit. Order ahead and take to go would be ideal if you are in a time crunch. This little place is easy to miss while driving so make sure you pull into the Treasure Hills Center off Rodney Parham Road.
MoreWe had an excellent dinner here. Very authentic and very good!
I've only visited once but was extremely pleased with the quality of the food and service. The restaurant is quite small and seemingly always busy, but the 10-minute wait for a table was well worth it. The Nachos Supreme I ordered came without beans as I requested and we're piled high with chicken, green peppers, onions, jalapeños, cilantro and cheese sauce for a delicious and filling combination. My lunch companion had an enchilada platter he said was scrumptious as well. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. I look forward to my next visit.
MoreAuthentic Mexican restaurant! Really good food, made fresh.
First of all the menu was dirty....I hate that!! The salsa was runny, watery and tasted week... the tacos were AMAzING....the beef had a wonderful flavor and texture..highly recommend them....all fresh ingredients...the enchiladas were disappointing. They dont serve Iced tea...very strange for any restaurant in the south. We probably wont be back....but the tacos were really good
